Crostata con crema di limone


  • 300 g pastry flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • peel of ½ lemon
  • baking powder - 16 g.


Put flour on the kitchen top, sprinkle sugar on it, add softened butter in the middle of the small “mountain”, then add eggs, lemon peel and baking powder. Mix quickly all the ingredients and make a ball of it, cover it with a cloth and leave it standing for an hour. In the meanwhile you have to prepare the cream of lemon. By helping with flour, put the ball in the pot and cover with the cream of lemon you have just prepared. Cook in oven for 20/30 minutes, degrees 180°. - 200 g sugar

- 1/2 lt. of water

- 50 g of MAIZENA (starch)

- 2 lemon juice

- peel of 1 lemon

- 1 egg


Mix all the ingredients - cold working. Then on a low flame but without let it boil. As soon as you notice the mixture to thicken and become a cream, turn off the flame and leave it to cool so then you can pour it into the Pasta Frolla. Then lower the border of the pasta with the help of a fork. It is ready now to be cooked in the oven!
