Chocolate amd Easter time

The chocolate eggs represent an ancient Easter tradition which over the years has been accompanied by so many different cakes from region to region. The Easter egg, the egg in general, is the symbol of rewed life. For centuries the Easter eggs were simply boiled in water and salt, and in some cases, painted with different colors. Two centuries ago started the chocolate version. The first Italian chocolate egg, seems to date back to 1865, when it would be the Turin mask of Gianduja to distribute them during the parade. Black or milk chocolate egg with or without surprise thus became the typical Easter cake.
