300 g almonds

    100 g chocolate

    1 liter of cooked grape juice must


    250 g olive oil

    250 g white wine

    100 g sugar

    500 g mashed chestnuts or chickpeas

    1/2 glass of rum

    1 glass of oil



Cook all together (low fire) : toasted and crumbled almonds,  cinnamon, chocolate and must. Work all the ingredients together and add mashed chestnuts or chickpeas. Turn off fire and add sugar and rum. Put the cream in the fridge for a couple of hours. In the meanwhile knead flour, oil and white wine and prepare a thin pastry. Make small balls of the cream and put on the pastry. Cover with pastry and cut “caggionetti”. Fry them and finish with sugar and cinnamon.
